Quarterly meetings are to take place from March 2024 between Unite and the People Leadership Team to ensure that critical policy areas for members are regularly discussed and reviewed as appropriate. Regular updates will be given on policy items such as long service recognition, sickness policy and performance management.
Performance Metrics
From the pay survey, members have made Unite aware that performance measures may not always be relevant/achievable. Unite will be conducting a survey on this issue in the new year, and the results will feed into a the meetings detailed in the previous section.
2023 Bonus
Initial discussions have taken place, and the Bank has assured Unite that it is confident of being able to pay improved bonuses in 2024. Payments are dependent on performance against the Bank scorecard and are subject to individual performance as well as Board approval and Regulator non-objection, which can only be given when the full year results have been published. Further details will be provided as soon as possible.
